An experiment in testing boundaries, Bitzer selectively observes and breaks the established rules of Latin flat brush calligraphy. Sharp twists of the pen give the letters a bottom-heavy quality, adding a sense of gravity into the visual texture, which becomes more pronounced in heavier weights.

Bitzer was designed for use in headlines, logotypes and editorial design. Its condensed width proportions aren’t exaggerated but allow for succinct delivery within a few lines of text. Its expanded width allows you to take up maximum space with only a few glyphs, ideal for titling and type illustration.

Now with three distinct optical sizes (Deck, Headline and Title), Bitzer maintains legibility at a wide range of sizes, from 14pt to infinity.
